| Hawkshead isn't that big when compared to some of the other places in the Lake District, but it does have lots of these little narrow streets to explore. If it wasn't for the occasional reminder of the modern world (TV aerials and double yellow lines in this picture) the village looks as though is has remained unchanged for centuries. | ||
