I always seem to have gained
some satisfaction from looking at, an occasionally remembering facts and
figures. Some would call it obsessive, but I hardly need any reason at all
to pick up a pen and paper to start making a list of some sort. In
addition to the things I have written down, I have a head full of useless
information like dates, how many, who was first, how long it took, , ,
, I'm sure you get the picture.
When it came to fell walking however, and I've regretted this many times, I
just didn't bother to keep any records. I simply got out there and walked
with no lists, no goals and no peak bagging at all. That was until somewhere around the middle of
2003 when I bought my first digital camera. This was all I needed to start
keeping a track of things.
What I've done here, is taken a selection of the information I keep up to
date for my own use and merged it with the walking logs.
(note: most walks I did in 2003 and some from 2004
were not recorded, but I've still included the information I have) |
