How accessible: |
Easy enough to get to from the Dubs Hut path or the
northern side of Grey Knotts (if you turn of at the right place). On the other
hand, if you choose to approach the sheepfold from Dubs Bottom itself, you're
entering a pathless area of very wet and boggy ground. One option would be to
traverse Dubs Bottom at or about the same height as the fold, but having done
this, I have to say it makes for a very difficult and tiring walk, and will take
much longer than you would expect. |
