How accessible: |
When you consider just how far the sheepfold is from
civilisation, it is surprisingly easy to reach. From the centre of Ambleside,
walk a little way up Smithy Brow (Kirkstone Pass), turn left into Sweden Bridge
Lane, pass the houses to reach the walled lane and simply keep walking. |
